Safe Harvest's white Poha is procured from a smallholder farmers collective in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The farmers flatten the pesticide free rice into Poha in manually operated grinders. Poha is a healthy ready to eat derivative of rice. Poha is easily digestible and light on the stomach. Poha is a rich source of iron and dietary fiber and has a comparatively low glycemic index.
